Veggie Tales “Lettuce Love One Another” DVD Review

We love Veggie Tales!  My husband and I both enjoy watching the videos with the kids.  They’re funny and entertaining but they also teach important lessons.  The new “Lettuce Love One Another” is no exception.  It includes three shows. ”Tomato Sawyer & Huckleberry Larry’s Big River Rescue” shows us that we can honor others when we help them.  ”Abe and the Amazing Promise” teaches the importance of patience. “King George and the Ducky”stresses the importance of putting others first.

The boys enjoyed them all but I think their favorite episode was ”Tomato Sawyer & Huckleberry Larry’s Big River Rescue”.  I tried to show them how they could apply what they learned to each other.

The dvd also includes 3 Silly Songs(which my kids LOVE) and new Bible Bits.  These are short segments that show examples of giving, loving, forgiving, helping, praying and sharing.  This DVD would make the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for your little one!

Lettuce Love One Another retails for $12.99 and is available now on the Veggie Tales site.  It will also be available in Christian stores on January 15th.

    True story, I have all the original movies from where my almost 14 year old watched Veggie tales. Now my 3.5 year old is watching them and LOVING them. Yesterday was a Veggie Tales on VCR marathon day, and I let him watch away!
