Our foster daughter brought the total count of our family up to 7.  Doing laundry for 7 people is no easy task.  Even though the kids all help at varying levels, our washer and dryer stay so busy that I almost feel sorry for them.  Laundry made easier sounds so nice right?  That’s exactly what you get when you check out the LG Twin Wash system at Best Buy.

LG TwinWash

Here is what Best Buy says about the LG TwinWash.

If you want to upgrade your laundry room for the new year, there’s no better way than with an LG washer and dryer. Raise your appliances to a comfortable height and get valuable storage with a traditional pedestal. Or choose the SideKick pedestal washer that will wash an additional small load ─ perfect for a load of delicate items.

If you’re interested in refreshing your clothes without laundering, consider the LG Styler ─ a steam clothing care system that can reduce wrinkles and odors in as little as 20 minutes.

While many of these features sounds nice….wrinkle reduction, nice height when using a pedestal…the feature that really gets me going is the SideKick pedestal washer that can wash an ADDITIONAL small load!  What??? That seriously is mind blowing to me!!! Laundry made easier?  Yes please!  I know it’s a small load capacity, but still.  We could get all the underwear and bras through the SideKick while the regular clothes went through the TwinWash.  What a brilliant idea and it does not take up more room!

SOLD!

If you are thinking of upgrading your washer and/or dryer then make sure you head to Best Buy, either a physical store or online.  And they have a special offer now through April 4, 2018 to save $500!! Get all the details on their site.

There are seven people in our home, plus a dog.  We have so much laundry.  So. Much. Laundry.  We do at least one load a day and often more.  I worry sometimes about what our energy bill will be, especially in the winter when we have all those snow pants and gloves and hats to wash and dry.  Thankfully I have been hearing about a great option that helps to address my concerns.  ENERGY STAR® dryers use 20% less energy than standard models and ENERGY STAR  washers use 25% less energy and 45% less water!  That could be some potential great savings for us!

ENERGY STAR #ad

Not only do ENERGY STAR washers and dryers offer savings on your energy and water bills, they also are better for the environment.  The average owner will save $490 with an ENERGY STAR certified clothes washer and could save even more when paired with an ENERGY STAR dryer.  One feature that jumped out to me is that these ENERGY STAR washers do not have a central agitator, that is supposed to help minimize wear and tear on clothing.  And the dryers use a sensor to sense when clothes are dry which also helps reduce wear and tear on your clothing.

ENERGY STAR washers and dryers can be bought from Best Buy. If you are intrigued by this idea, then make sure you watch this video about being a laundry star!

If you are in the market for a new washer, new dryer or possible even both, then visit the Best Buy Blog to learn more!

I would love to hear from you about your best laundry hacks!  What saves you time when you do laundry?  Then go check out ENERGY STAR and let me know if you’d make the switch!
