Thank you Educational Insights for sending us Raccoon Rumpus to review. All opinions are my own.
Our kids love playing games. The girls are 8 and 10 and our oldest son is 3. Sometimes it can be very difficult to find games that all 3 can enjoy together. Educational Insights sent us the game Raccoon Rumpus to try out.
Admittedly, when we first saw it the girls reaction was more like “Great. Another game for our brother.” But after opening it, it really is a game we ALL have fun with! Raccoon Rumpus is simple. The rules are super simple and easy to grasp. The pieces are minimal and very sturdy.
There are 4 Raccoons for kids to use. Then there are 2 dice. One has different clothes on it. The other has different colors. Then there are quite a few cards with outfits for the raccoons. You spread them all out and then the youngest person rolls first. Let’s say they get a yellow color and then roll a shirt. They can choose any costume with a yellow shirt. Easy peasy! But watch out if you roll underwear. Just sayin’…you may get in trouble. The first raccoon to collect 5 costumes is the winner! Over a week after receiving this the kids are still playing it daily. It is fun, easy and kids seem to love it.
