We have 4 kids and they came in sets of 2.  We have two girls ages 8 and 9.   Our boys are 2 and 4 months.  When buying things like shoes, only the best shoes will do.  I could buy up all kinds of cheap shoes and “save money” but it’s not really a savings when the shoes fall apart after one season of usage.  In our home, we save the shoes for the next child down to use.  When only the best shoes will do for you, then consider buying from Umi Children’s Shoes.  They sent us two new pairs of shoes to review.  One pair was the Tala Ii for our 8 year old daughter.  The other pair was the Laren for our 2 year old son.

She loves to run around in dresses and cowboy boots.  She’ll tear her tights every time she wears them.  She loves to wear dresses and jewels and anything glittery, but then you will find her poking sticks in a mud puddle or climbing a tree.  The Tala Ii shoes were just meant for a girl like her.

They are tennis shoes (but PLEASE don’t tell her) with spunk and character.  She wears these everywhere.  We have already washed them many times and they are holding up in typical Umi style.

Clothing for Tweens with CiCi Bean! #sponsored

Though I am reluctant to admit it, our girls are turning into Tweens.  They are turning 9 and 10.  As they get older, they are wanting more fashionable clothing.  As their parents, we want to instill modesty in them.  Oftentimes, it is difficult to combine trendy with modesty.  And as our girls develop their own personal tastes and preferences …it gets even more difficult.  Thankfully, we have found CiCi Bean.

They sent our daughter a cute sweatshirt and a pair of shorts.  This shirt is actually perfect for our cool, Ohio weather this Spring.  It is heavy enough to keep her warm, but lightweight enough that it is not bulky.  She has a slender build and I was nervous how the shorts would fit.

PishPosh Baby has great car seats like Britax!

When we were expecting our 3rd child, we bought a Britax Roundabout.  We loved it and we were able to use it when he was ready to transition to a front facing seat.  Then we got the amazing news that we were going to have a 4th baby!  This meant that we needed a new car seat.  We were able to get a Britax Frontier for our toddler son and used the Roundabout for the baby.  Then we encountered a brand new dilemma.  Our toddler son wanted to ride with my husband in my husband’s car.  The problem?  It meant he had to unload the Frontier every time our son wanted to hitch a ride.  Then our infant son was put in the hospital (in a quick emergency) with RSV.  I had been at one hospital and we were transported by ambulance to a different hospital.  We were going to be admitted and I needed things from home.  But I had left the van with both car seats at the first hospital.   It took a lot of work for my husband to arrange someone to get the van to him so he and the kids could come to the hospital to visit us and bring the items I needed.  We determined to not be in this position again.  During this time PishPosh Baby gave me a $50 gift card to spend at their site.  My husband said, “We need a carseat for my car.”  We opted for another Roundabout.  PishPosh had them for $199, so with the gift card we paid $149 and scored free shipping (orders over $75 ship free)!

These were colors available from PishPosh and we selected the Onyx.  Ordering online from PishPosh was quite easy!  They have Mom Reps available to answer questions you might have.  One thing I want to point out is that while their regular is very fast, their car seats are sent from a different location and can take 2-4 weeks to ship out.  It states this right under the product, but I overlooked it when placing my order.  Thankfully we were in no hurry.  I think it ended up only taking about 2 weeks and then the new seat arrived safely at our front door!
