Back to School with Boys & Girls Clubs!

School for us starts in 11 days.  For our family school will look a little different this year.  After two years in a great public school, we are bringing our girls back home to do home-school with them.  We recently moved and that move took us a district where the schools are not up to par educationally.  This year we are trying a state program where the girls complete their work online.  We were even sent free computers and printers to use for the year.  Here is what our getting ready for school involved:

Unpacking the bazillion boxes of school supplies we were sent including; 2 computers, 2 printers, 2 Science Kits, tons of teacher books and really neat art supplies!

Formerly withdrawing from both the old public school and the new district we moved into

Boys & Girls Clubs are a great asset to local communities.  They provide educational opportunities and tons of fun for kids who might otherwise be left on their own after school.  Each year they help thousands of kids across America!

Back to School: P’kolino Review and Giveaway! (US only)

Kristen here with one final Back to School giveaway for you.  Last year  when I attended the ABC Kids Expo, I discovered P’kolino and just fell in love with all their “playfully smart” items.  I was so pleased when they agreed to partner with us on our Back to School event.  They kindly sent me one of their brand new Art Travel Sets.

We were sent this adorable little monkey set.

The kids were so excited to put in the crayons and markers.

And to use it of course!
