I am not a Pinterest perfect baker by any means.  To be perfectly honest, I am not even a very good baker.  My kids had been begging for some Christmas goodies and I had been putting them off.  Mostly because baking is hard for me.  Then I got a package in the mail.
It was FILLED with baking items from Good Cook.  I knew this was my chance to make some Christmas goodies with the kids.  I decided to create a Christmas Goodie Buffet where every item was different!  Not only was this colorful and fun, but it TOTALLY takes the pressure off!  Using my Good Cook gear I got busy.
I had some Good Cook Cupcake Papers, Cake Pop Sticks and a scoop.  I picked up some supplies.  I got a white cake mix, some Christmas colored sprinkles, the Christmas M & M’s and the ingredients for the easiest cream cheese icing ever!  I made the cake mix according to directions and then divided the batter into thirds.  One batch stayed white and the others turned red and green.  Then using my Good Cook scoop, I filled the Good Cook Cupcake Papers with the cupcake batter.  Using the scoop keeps it cleaner and allows you to fill the cupcakes papers to the exact level you desire.  After they had cooled, I iced them and decorated them.  I tried to make each one unique!
I had the kids divide the M & M’s.  Also, they used the Cake Pop Sticks to make decorative flags!  We filled a mason jar with mini marshmallows and placed a few flags in there.  My favorite cupcake was my Snowball Cupcake!
I took one of the cupcakes and iced it.  Then I placed one of the flags the kids made and put it deep into the middle of the cupcake.  Then we piled snowballs mini marshmallows all around it!  It really did look like snowballs and was so cute!
I added edible decorations to the table by sprinkling candy and marshmallows all around.  So much fun!  The kids loved it!  Thanks to Good Cook it was virtually stress-free for me!
Check out Good Cook and let me know what items you want from them!

I love these! So cute but I bet even my toddler could help do these. My kiddos are starting to ask me too. They are begging to start Christmas baking

I never baked when my daughter was little. Now that I’m retired and blogging, we have all kinds of fun together in the kitchen. Hopefully, it’s something she’ll do with her kids as well.
