One thing I’d really like to do this year is take better care of my skin.  I have good intentions, but then I get busy and I’m lucky just to wash my face before bed.  However, I know I need to do better if I want my skin to look and feel good.  So when I got the chance to try out some skin care products, I jumped at the chance.

skin

7th Heaven offers a variety of face masks that are both effective and economical.  My skin has been feeling really dull lately so I tried the Exfoliator & Masque first.  It contains crushed dead sea salt, grated orange peel, and ground black lava.  As soon as I opened the package, I noticed the yummy orange scent.  I massaged it into my skin and then let it dry for 15 minutes before rinsing it off.  It didn’t feel very grainy so I wasn’t sure how well it would exfoliate.  But when I rinsed it off, my skin felt very smooth, clean, and fresh!

I had the luxury of soaking in the tub last week so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to try out the Dead Sea Mud Pac.  This one is meant for combination and oily skin.  It combines seaweed, crushed dead sea salt, and pressed flowers.  It’s a hard drying mask which I liked.  My skin felt super clean and tight afterwards.

The smell of the Creamy Coconut mask made me think of the beach!  It uses pressed shea nut, pulped coconut, and ground cocoa to moisturize and hydrate skin.  It left my face super soft and supple.

All of these masks can be found at retailers like Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Kroger. They retail for $1.99.  That’s a great deal, especially considering I was able to get two uses out of each pack!

snowberry

Snowberry was founded by cosmetician Soraya Hendesi, who wanted to create natural skin care products that took advantage of advances in skin care science while also being environmentally friendly.  Snowberry products are not tested on animals and don’t, with the exception of honey and cultured pearl, contain any animal product.

I was really excited to try the New Radiance Face Serum with CuPEP.   Copper Tripeptide-1, which occurs naturally in the skin and which doesn’t cause a skin reaction, stimulates collagen and elastin production in the skin.  Snowberry developed a world-first delivery technology that ensures the safe delivery of the peptide into dermal cells.  It’s the only serum in the world with this technology, and  was also the only anti-ageing serum in the world, invited to be presented to the 23rd World Congress of Dermatology in Vancouver.  A trial, carried out by Dermatest Medical Research Institute in Germany, showed that the Serum helped to reduce wrinkle volume by an average of 25.6%!

This clear serum has no scent and absorbed quickly into my skin.  It was not heavy or greasy feeling at all and left my skin feeling smooth and soft.  I have been using it for about 10 days now, in the morning and at night, and my skin definitely looks smoother and the lines around my eyes seem less noticeable.  I am very pleased with the results so far and can’t wait to see how my skin looks after a full month of using it!

The New Radiance Face Serum retails for $36.  You can purchase it and learn more about Snowberry’s full line of products at snowberryskincare.com.

These look like great products. I have never used a face mask before. I need to try them out.
