Last year we started our mission to get healthy. Since then we have started our own garden, did a lot of canning, are making our own compost and have begun eating a mostly clean diet (maybe about 85%). One other step we decided to take, was to eliminate plastics. For years it’s been known that chemicals can leach from plastic into the foods that we eat. Same thing with canned produce! One of the best things you can do for your family is to eliminate plastics. We have replaced about 95% of ALL our plastics and are switching over to glass containers like these Airtight Glass Containers from Life Without Plastic.
These containers are made from glass. The lids are stainless steel and have a silicone seal. The top has a little button to push that creates an airtight seal! It works great! The dimensions are 7.8 cm X 13.2 cm X 5.7 cm; 7.0″ X 5.2″ X 2.2″. Best of all….you can remove the lid and heat these in the microwave!
These hold enough to take a small salad, some fresh fruit, a small wrap, a sandwich cut in half and with two containers there is plenty of room for a full lunch.
Life Without Plastic has a great selection of containers and other items to choose from. They have some great water dispensing containers and even sippy cups for babies and toddlers! There is so much to love from their site!
Life Without Plastic is offering one of our readers their own container like I reviewed. I hope this can be YOUR start to living without plastics too!
