Pets are a big part of our lives so it only makes sense to include them in my Home Sweet Home Event! Our dogs can be pretty messy when they eat and especially drink. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve stepped in spilled water from their drinking bowl. Neater Feeder solves this problem with their ingenious pet dish! The Neater Feeder contains spills and saves floors with it’s two compartment design. The upper reservoir contains food spills and has a filter that allows splilled water to drain into the lower reservoir. I was sent the large neater feeder deluxe which is for dogs weighing 35-100+ lbs. with a 20″+ shoulder height
It was super easy to set up. I just sat the top portion onto the bottom and and put the bowls into the holders. One of the included bowls is a little larger. This one is to hold water. I like that it holds more since our dogs get really thirsty, especially in the summer. The sides and back of the feeder are elevated to prevent food and water from being splashed up onto walls and cabinets. I also love the fact that the feeder has non-skid feet to prevent slipping. I am so over tripping over and kicking the dogs’ water bowls and then having big messes to clean up!
We have been using the Neater Feeder for a couple of weeks now and it works great! Their dishes stay put and there are no more spills. Every few days, I take the top reservoir off to drain out any water that has spilled or splashed into the bottom reservoir. The directions mentioned that some dogs may need some time to get used to the Neater Feeder. I was surprised that our dogs fell into this category. After a day or two though, they went right to it.
I like that it sits up higher so it’s easier for the dogs to eat and drink. One of our dogs is 14 and it’s getting hard for her to get around. The height of the Neater Feeder mean she doesn’t have to bend down as much to get her food.
The Neater Feeder comes in two colors and three sizes for dogs and there is also a model available for cats. If your 4 legged family members are messy eaters or you’re just tired of tripping over feeding bowls, check out the Neater Feeder!
One lucky reader will win a Neater Feeder for their pet!
