We are moving. Again.  This makes our 10th move in 13 years.  I have learned a lot by moving so often though.  We have learned what different parts of the country are like, the best ways to pack, tips for exploring a new community and even ideas for choosing the right lighting for a new home.

The right, or wrong, lighting can truly make or break the ambiance of your home.  If the lighting is too dark, it can feel gloomy.  If it’s too bright, you may have trouble relaxing.  Finding the right lighting for your home is important.  One home we lived in had no overhead lighting.  This made it extremely challenging to sit and read a book or make the home feel bright enough.  But don’t be intimidated about choosing the right lighting for a new home.  Thanks to companies like Lamp Factory USA,  it’s a cinch to find the right lighting for you and your home.

I can’t believe you have moved so much!! I am in the process of moving too!! I have a house at the beach and the taxes are way to high for us now. We are moving into a rental and then my husband took a fall and had to have major surgery etc. What a mess we are in now!! I can’t wait until we are organized!! I love lights and lighting of all sorts. Thanks for your great ideas.

Lighting can really affect my mood and too much of it can bother my eyes. That’s why I really like Sconces. The lighting is subtle and they look great on my wall. My favorite is the – 1 Light Wall Sconce with Rubbed Oil Bronze Finish by Trans Globe Lighting – 7211 ROB.
