On June 11th journey to a wondrous land of enchantment and surprises when a classic tale gets a brand- new twist in a full-length adventure that follows Minnie Mouse and the rest of the Clubhouse pals as they visit the strange and wonderful world of “Dizz” in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie’s The Wizard Of Dizz!
Overflowing with music and laughter – plus two extra “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” episodes, ten bonus Minnie’s Bow-Toons and a FREE download of the Minnie Bow Maker digital book app – this song-filled celebration of fun and friendship proves there’s no place like the Clubhouse!

My Thoughts:

Growing up, I loved Mickey Mouse and all things Disney.  I’m also a fan of The Wizard of Oz so I was excited to watch this with my kids.  We were not disappointed!  It’s an adorable movie with a great message of friendship.  It had some really fun songs and the kids especially loved the Chipmunchkins.  I liked how it really followed the theme of the original movie but also incorporated elements from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.  Minnie and her friends use mouseketools to solve problems along their journey.  This is a great family friendly movie and the boys have watched it almost every day since we got it.

I received a MyAllergy Test kit to facilitate this review.  As always follow all instructions carefully and always consult with your doctor before making any changes. All opinions are my own.

It seems like our family has allergies.  Mine used to be pretty severe but it appears that I have grown out of them.  I started really getting allergies in high school.  They were moderate then.  Very itchy, eyes, ears, nose and throat.  However, we moved up north to Michigan and my allergies exploded.  I ended up at an allergy doctor trying to find some relief.  I ended up (seasonally) on two oral medicines, eye drops, an inhaler and nose spray.  I hated it! I don’t like taking medicines and this was so extreme.  Thankfully they were just Spring allergies and I have grown out of them.  All of our kids seem to have minor allergies as well.  Nothing real major, just sneezing and some itchy eyes when certain trees bloom.  One daughter is allergic to adhesive so she cannot use bandaids or medical tape.  There is a new product though to help you learn more about allergies you may, or may not, have.  It is called My Allergy Test and it allows you to do allergy testing at home!

my allergy test

This test is remarkably easy to use and will test for the 10 most common allergies.  We tried it on our oldest daughter as she seems most affected by seasonal allergies…swollen, itchy eyes and a persistent cough for several weeks each Spring.  My Allergy Test kit included everything we needed to get her blood sample.

my allergy test

After we labeled it and placed it into the provided envelope we put it out with our mail.  A few weeks later I received an email letting me know that she did not appear to be allergic to any of those things except a very minor reaction to mold.

I received a gift pack from NameArt.com to facilitate this review. No compensation was received and all opinions are my own.

I love finding unique, fun art for my kids’ rooms and what’s more unique than a child’s name? NameArt.com is the perfect place!  They are the leading provider of personalized name art gifts for children.  They allow you to choose from a number of whimsical designs to create a one of a kind gift for your child.

I was so excited to try it out!  The process was fun and easy.  After entering the child’s name, you pick a theme.  These include Mermaids, Fairies, Angels, Robots, Monsters, Wizards, Teddy Bears, and Dragons.  I liked that there was a good selection for both boys and girls.  I choose Fairies for Little Miss.

Once you choose your theme, you can personalize the name by changing the colors and or features of each letter.

It instantly shows you a preview with each change so you can see exactly what the name will look like and play around with it until you’re happy with how it looks.  Once you’re satisfied, you click on “I’m done Continue Here”.  You will see a preview at the top of the page along with all the gift options available.

They have everything from stickers and bookmarks, to pillows and framed art!  I was sent a gift set that included a bookmark, a placemat, name bar and a poster print.

I have edited out part of Little Miss’s name for privacy but you can see how cute they turned out! The quality is excellent and the colors are really pretty.  I can’t wait to hang the print in her room and the placemat will definitely come in handy!  It will be a fun way to help her learn her letters as well as how to spell her name.

One lucky reader will win their choice of any one Poster, Placemat, Fine Art Print or Name Bar!

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Cascade. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

Dirty dishes.  Sometimes I feel like they are everywhere! With 6 of living here, we can go through 15 plates, cups and forks in one day…easily.  I expect my dishwasher tabs to perform and perform well.  Recently I discovered that Top Chef’s Gail Simmons had partnered with my favorite brand of dishwasher tabs, Cascade.  She is promoting their new line of tabs called Cascade Platinum.  My curiosity was piqued and I wanted to try them out.

Cascade Platinum

I was sent a bag to review.  Admittedly, I was dubious.  I truly love the Cascade brand but did not believe there was really anything “new” for dishwasher tabs.  Boy was I EVER wrong! In her video, Gail Simmons claims you can let your dishes sit for 24 hours…dirty and sitting in the dishwasher…before using Cascade Platinum.

Even though it meant dishes piling up in my sink, I decided to try this for myself.  I cooked like usual, loaded the dishwasher and just let it sit overnight.  Mine probably say for about 18 hours.

I popped in my new Cascade Platinum tabs and turned in onto the regular was cycle.  Ready for the results?

Cascade Platinum

I grabbed some shots of the glasses that went through this cycle as well.

Cascade Platinum

I was amazed at how clean these dishes were.  I was already a Cascade fan and I am now an even bigger fan thanks to the Cascade Platinum dishwasher tabs.  Cleaner dishes mean better presentation for your food.  So even though I am not a celebrity chef, I do enjoy having sparkly dishes to present meals like this to my family.

Cascade Platinum

Currently Cascade is hosting a contest on Instagram.  Please visit their site for full contest details.  By entering you have a chance to win a complete KitchenAid Kitchen Makeover and other great prizes like a full years supply of Cascade!

Have you tried these Cascade Platinum tabs yet?

Thank you Shoplet for sending me these Deflecto-O items to review. All opinions are my own.

I’d love for everything in my home to be perfectly organized and not have a thing out of place.  But keeping up with 4 kids, the laundry and cooking, means I have a lot of organizing to do.  One thing that was out of control in our home was our junk drawer and the little bit of counter space when you first walk in the back door.  Both places were just a catchall for all kinds of things.  Thanks to the Delfect-O Two Drawer Cube Organizer I have conquered the junk drawer beast!  Are you ready?  Here is our before photo:

Delfect-O

Crazy right?  Thankfully Shoplet has plenty of office supplies to choose from including the Deflect-O Desk Cube with X Dividers and the Deflect-O Desk Cube,  These were literally a snap to put together.

Delfect-O

I get real thrill out of organizing and I was so excited to get these put together.  I dumped out my junk drawer and began sorting.  I found several things to throw away and then grouped together like items etc.  Delfect-O

What do you think?  I love it!  Plus I got to use my label maker!  I love the way it looks on our counter and so far it has remained clean and organized.  My favorite part is the little drawers.  I love hacing our bandaids right  by the back door so when the kids come running in with scrapes they are easily accessible.  For Deflect-O items and other promotional products check out Shoplet.
