pas

Passion.  According to Miriam Webster passion can be defined as:
a strong liking or desire for or devotion to some activity, object, or concept
Everyone has a passion of some sort. Passion for food. Passion for exercise. Passion for a chosen career path. Passion for helping the homeless. When I think of passion, I think of my family. I am passionate for them. I love them. I love cooking for them, cleaning for them, going places together and anything else we do together. Likewise, I am passionate about my husband. He is the best person in the world for me. We have been married for almost 12 years and I still get flutters when we get to go on a date.
In reference to one of the definitions of Passion from Miriam Webster, I am passionate about one activity. Those closest to me could likely give you the answer. Blogging. I blog daily. I talk about blogging. I encourage others to blog and I love working on improving our blog. In the blogosphere our blog is still pretty small. However, I devote time each and every day to discover trends, improvements, tips and other ways to make our blog better…not bigger…just better. Most any blogger will tell you they want their blog to grow, and I am no different. Yet, I do not want numbers, I want involved, loyal followers who look to our blog for advice, tips, reviews and recipes. How do I accomplish this? Well, I am still trying to figure that out. One of my official blogging goals for 2013 is to attend at least one blogging conference.

pass

What could be better than a conference that is just for female bloggers like myself? Not much. Take that conference to an amazing location like London and I am sold. Cybher is the number one all inclusive female blogger event in the UK. This event seems to cover it all. There is a session specifically for beginners (like me)! The session I am most excited about is the one being led by Maggy Woodley. She is teaching all about increasing your blogs visibility and the session is interactive…meaning bring your computers and iPhones! Did I mention they also have coffee breaks? Coffee? London? Learning and blogging?

Help me meet one of my goals for 2013. London is calling. My passport is ready.

Disclosure: I did not receive any form of compensation for this post. However, by writing this I have the possibility of being selected by Collective Bias to attend Cybher for free which would include, but is not limited to, airfare, lodging and the conference. All opinions are 100% my own. #Cbias

“Last night, The Bible series’ executive producers, Mark Burnett and Roma Downey, were joined by some of their celebrity friends, including Kristin Chenoweth, Montel Williams and Ariana Huffington, to celebrate the opening of “The Bible Experience” in New York.

“The Bible Experience” is an exquisite gallery featuring rare biblical artifacts and an array of breathtaking photography from the series production in celebration of the epic miniseries.  Previously at the Vatican, these one-of-a-kind rare artifacts will be on display exclusively for the first time ever in New York.

“The Bible Experience” is located at 450 West 14th Street between Washington and 10th Avenue and will run 10:00AM to 6:00PM daily from March 20, 2013 to March 27, 2013.  Admission is free.”

The Bible will be available on Blu-ray, DVD and DHD and April 2nd.  Make plans now to order it for someone.

I have dreamed of attending a Blogger Conference.  But let’s be honest.  I have 4 kids here at home and I stay home with them.  Making the budget stretch to attend a conference, plus travel, plus dining…well, it’s just not likely to happen.  What if there was a conference that required no travel?  And what if you could attend that conference while in your jammies?  Sounds too good be true right?  Think again.  The Blog Workshop is an online blogger conference.  I am definitely going to this one!  They have lined up some top notch speakers from Izea, Blog Frog and more.  A truly great line up.

The conference is taking place May 17-19.  The total cost for the conference is just $175!  This is extremely affordable.  And remember, no travel required and you can even eat Ben & Jerry’s while attending in your pajamas!  It doesn’t get any better than that, right?

The Blog Workshop has information available regarding scholarships and grants. If you are ready to register, just click here and sign up today. Will I be seeing you there? Leave a comment and let me know!
