It’s Blueberry Month! Did you know July is the official National Blueberry Month?  Well, it is.  To celebrate, I wanted to share this recipe of mine for an all natural blueberry smoothie.  You know me…this is all about being easy.  For this recipe you don’t even need measuring cups! Just mason jars.  It is that simple!

1/2 a peach or banana

Yogurt (optional)

100% pure honey (optional)

Simply fill a mason jar with blueberries.  They can be fresh or frozen.  Fill a second jar with milk.  **Note: Our kiddos are not big on the yogurt but you can easily fill the jar with half yogurt and half milk**

Slice half a peach or a whole medium sized banana.  Add in honey (if desired).

Pour all ingredients into the blender.  **If using fresh blueberries, you will want to add half a mason jar of ice to cool it down**

Then kick back and enjoy your Blueberry Mason Jar Smoothie!

This recipe makes approximately 2 mason jars of smoothies.  Let me know if you give this a try!

This sounds like an easy and delicious recipe to make. I just made blueberry pie and I have some leftover blueberries I can use for this.

This looks so delicious! We love smoothies, but I don’t think I’ve ever tried mixing peach and blueberry. We will definitely have to give this combo a try.
