I grew up in the South. Let me tell ya, it is a wonderful place to live. I moved around frequently but spent the majority of my life in the South. One city in particular is very special to me and that is Charleston. When my husband and I had been married for 13 months we met my parents in Charleston for a week long vacation. It was where we told them we were pregnant with our first child (she is now almost 10).
She was the first child for us and the first grandchild on either side of the family. My parents were the first to be told. And we told them in Charleston. Truth be told, I spent that week avoiding most all the foods the area offered and I missed the entire tour of Fort Sumter because I was feeling so ill from the ride over. Next week I have the opportunity to visit Charleston yet again. It is 10 years since I last went. Things have changed since I was last in Charleston. The child who was the size of a grain of rice is now a smart soon-to-be-10 year old. Additionally we have an 8 year old. And a 2 year old boy. And a 4 month old boy. 10 years. 4 kids. Now I am returning to Charleston for another amazing reason. You may remember a few months ago, I blogged about my relationship with Bigelow Tea. The Bigelow Family chose myself and a few other bloggers to come to Charleston! This time my trip will be filled with tea tastings and making new friends. The Bigelow family is throwing their arms wide open to us and giving us the royal treatment. I cannot wait to experience it!
This time I am leaving behind my husband and these four kiddos.
And instead of feeling morning sickness, I will be lugging a breastpump around with me. Boy, how times have changed! I cannot wait to get to Charleston. A special city, special friends and a very special company that care about creating genuine relationships with their consumers.
Stay tuned for more posts, pictures and tweets from my Bigelow Tea Experience.
