We are fully into summer here at my house and I’m enjoying the laid back days and free time with my kids.  Schedules have gone out the door and relaxation and fun have become our themes.  Bring on backyard campouts, smores, swimming, impromptu trips to the park and late bedtimes!  I’ve also been able to enjoy a little more “me” time thanks to less busy days.  So I was especially excited to see what was in my June Peaches and Petals box.  Peaches and Petals is an awesome monthly subscription service that delivers beauty/lifestyle boxes each month right to your door. Subscriptions are only $19.99 a month with free shipping! The theme of the June box was “Summer Lovin’” and all of the items were perfect for ennoying this fun time.

Peaches and Petals June

The sequin pillow ($9.49), of course, immediately caught my eye.

This pillow is super cool!  It features flippable sequins that allow you to “draw” on it.

My daughter absolutely loved it and I had fun with it myself!  I’m thinking about getting a few to save for birthday parties my kids get invited to.

This trio from Beauty Junky ($4.99) is a great way to pamper myself a little.

It features a one time use pack of Cucumber Hand Cream, Paw Paw & Pomegranate Face Mask, and Almond Hair Mask.  The only negative is that the hair mask packet does not contain nearly enough to cover my super long hair.  There’s enough for my ends though.

I also received this Hard Candy Fox in a Box Powder Compact ($8.75), which features two blendable shades.

I was a little worried because the pink shade is really bright.  But combined with the brown shade, it worked.

The next two items are perfect for all the time we’ve been spending outside.

I’m a stickler for sunscreen and we go through it pretty quickly.  This Clear Zinc Sport Stick by Babo Botanicals ($8.64) is hypoallergenic and lightweight, dairy, soy and gluten free.  It’s perfect for sensitive skin and is fragrance free.  It went on smoothly and worked great on our recent trip to the playground.

My eyes are super sensitive to the sun so I was excited to find these Foster Grant sunglasses ($14.99) in the June box.

They offer 100% UVA and UVB protection and fit great.

I truly love everything in this month’s box and will use it all.  In fact, it’s probably one of my favorites, so far.  The total value of the items I received is $46.86 so definitely a good deal.  If you’d like to sign up, just visit PeachesandPetals.com and be sure to use one of the codes below!

Or, you can use the following code for a free hammock!  But hurry!  It’s only good through July 15th and cannot be combined wit any other offer.  This code MUST be added during checkout.

Pet Treater is a monthly subscription service just for dogs! They offered personalized boxes filled with treats, toys, and accessories designed to pamper your pooch. This month’s box didn’t have a specific theme but it contained items perfect for summer adventures.

Pet Treater June

This month’s box was pretty full!  My daughter immediately went for the toys.

This Multipet Chicken Sandwich squeaker toy ($7.99) got Zoe’s attention right away.  One squeak and she came running.  It also crinkles and Zoe really seemed to like it.

This Ice Cream Cone Freezable Dog Toy by fouFIT ($14.84) is really neat!  You can soak it in water and freeze it for refreshing playtime fun.  It also floats so you can use it in the pool or lake.

This Nylabone Fun’N’Fit Vanilla Infused Small Dog Treat Toy ($5.89) mixes fun with treat time.

You can stuff it with treats, dog food, or peanut butter.  It has rubber ridges that massage the gums and help clean teeth.  Zoe stays in her crate when we’re not home and this is a great way to help keep her occupied and happy during that time.

The June box included this card about one of the items :

I’m really glad they included the Mount Everlasting Himalayan Chew ($11.14).   It’s organic with no preservatives, and made with 100% natural ingredients.  I’ve mentioned before that Zoe is a very hard chewer.  Most toys and bones don’t last more than 24 hours with her.  This everlasting chew, on the other hand, has been fantastic!  She has had it for a week now and has chewed it everyday and she still has half of it.  I’m super impressed wit it and plan to get m

ore.

I also received another treat from Emmy’s Gourmet Canine Creations ($1.50).  These treats are common in the Pet Treater boxes and like usual, Zoe loved it.

Summer can be filled with day trips or getaways and if you take your dog with you, it can be a hassle to lug food along.  This OutBar Meal Replacement Bar from The Great Outdogs ($3) is the perfect solution.

It contains no grains, soy, added sugar, or artificial preservatives and includes a generous portion of real animal protein.  It is all natural with added vitamins and minerals and is interchangeable with your dog’s daily food.  It can also be broken up into snack size bites as well.

These Strawberry Flavored LickOrish Chews from Exclusively Dog ($4.59) were also a hit with Zoe.  They contain no added sugars, wheat, soy or corn and are made in the USA.

We know how important dental health is for dogs so I appreciated this pack of Arm & Hammer Gum Hugging Finger Brushes ($9.99).

They’re designed to cover the whole tooth to gumline and make it easier to get into all the spaces in your dog’s mouth.  Zoe tolerated it pretty well.

My kids’ favorite item this month was the Outward Hound Pal Pak Harness ($12.87).

This neat harness features a zippered pouch with a pick-up bag dispenser so you can easily clean up after your dog when nature calls.  The second pouch can be used for other items.  We put a few treats in it when we went for a walk.  It was easy to put on and worked well!

The Human Treat for this month was a Wrist Wallet by Sportline ($13.88).

It’s lightweight and comfortable.  It features a pocket with velcro closer that’s perfect for holding cash, credit card, ID, or any other item you need but don;t want to have to carry.  It’s great for jogs or hikes.

This month;s box was one of my favorites!  It had a ton of great items and at a value of $85.69, it’s also one of the highest value boxes I’ve received.  A month-to-month Pet Treater subscription is only $24.99 so it’s definitely a great value. Peaches and Petals is a monthly subscription service that delivers beauty/lifestyle boxes each month right to your door. Subscriptions are only $19.99 a month with free shipping! The theme of the May box was “Vacation All I Ever Wanted”.

It was filled with items perfect for summer relaxation.

This pretty She Believed She Could So She Did magnetic board ($18) from Umbra is 15″x15 1/2″ and comes with six round magnets. It would be great for posting your goals or pictures of summer adventures.

This Spungee Neck Support Travel Pillow ($11.45) is super soft and conforms to your neck.  I envision using it while lounging by the pool or during roadtrips.  It’s very lightweight and the fabric is nice and soft.

I am a candle fanatic so I was excited to find this Sara Beth wooden wick’d candle in Seaside ($14), in the May box.  Not only does it smell amazing, it also features a wick that crackels when lit.  It’s so soothing and makes me think of a crackling campfire.

I also received 2 packs of gud Natural Cleansing Wipes from Burt’s Bees ($4.99 each).  The Pearanormal Activity, pear and aca berry smelled really good but the Red Ruby Groovy, grapefruit and thyme smelled amazing!  They provide a quick and easy way to freshen up after a workout or time outdoors.

Lastly, we have this hope-to-go Travel kit from Soapbox ($7.99).  This kit includes four of Soapbox’s best selling restorative Argan products, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion.  It’s perfect for those weekend getaways but the best part of this kit is that it gives back.  For every travel kit purchased, Soapboa donates a month of clean water to a community in need.  How awesome is that?!

I was really happy with everything in the May box.  I’m especially excited about the pillow and the candle.  The total value of the box was approximately $61.42 so it was a great deal considering a subscription is $20 a month.  If you’d like to sign up, just visit PeachesandPetals.com and use the coupon code PEACH10% to save 10% off your first order.

Pet Treater is a monthly subscription service just for dogs!  They offered personalized boxes filled with treats, toys, and accessories designed to pamper your pooch.  Each month has a different theme and May’s was Backyard Playtime.

As you can see, Zoe couldn’t wait to check it out!

We received several treat/food items, all from Vegalicious, this month.

The Vegalicious Healthy Treat Bar and the Healthy Popped Snacks are wheat, soy, corn, and gluten free.  Zoe really liked both!  The Healthy Food Enhancer contains sweet potatoes, carrots, and beets and has a built in grinder that allows you to add flavor and nutrition to any dog food. It is great for times when you are transitioning your dog to a new food.  Zoe gobbled up her food so it seems she liked it!

I’ve mentioned before that Zoe is a big time chewer and she tends to tear up toys quickly.  The Chomper Gladiator is designed for dogs like her with three layers of “Tuff-ness”.  The kids had fun throwing it for her and it is holding up well.  A built in squeaker is a nice bonus.

This cute Bottle Squeakers toy by Outward Hound is stuffing free and crackles, crunches and squeaks.  Zoe loved it but unfortunately she had destroyed the bottle within a couple of hours.  The tag says that the bottle can be replaced with another empty water bottle by removing it and transferring the squeaker cap to the new bottle.  Unfortunately, Zoe chewed the squeaker part too :/  She had fun while it lasted though!

We also received this Pup Stop Barrier from also from Outward Hound.

It’s perfect for those who travel with their dogs.  It easily connects between the two front seats to keep your dog from climbing up into the front seat.

Every Pet Treater Box contains a “Human Treat”.  This month it was this fun journal by From: Frank .

It’s filled with pictures of adorable dogs and cats with plenty of space to write in.  My son claimed this right away because he loves animals and also loves to write and draw.

Here’s the value breakdown (all prices from Amazon):

  • Vegalicious Food Topper: $7.99
  • Vegalicious Bar: $2.99
  • Vegalicious Popped Snacks: $2.49

I’m excited to share the contents of the April Pet Treater box with you today!  Each box is customized for your dog and even includes a personalized letter. The theme of the February Pet Treater box was “Spring into Action”.

April Pet Treater

Pet Treater lets you customize the box for your dog.  Zoe is, to the best guess of our vet, a corgi/lab mix so we receive boxes for a medium size dog.   To say she loves toys is an understatement.  That was evident as I started to unpack the box.  The minute she heard this Alligator toy from Petlou squeak, she came running and tried to grab it off the table!

She was equally excited about this Badger toy, also from Petlou.  It makes two different sounds by squeezing either the belly or tail.

Zoe is rough on her toys and so far, these are holding up!

Next, we unpacked the treats.  These are my daughter’s favorites.  She loves spoiling Zoe.

These Pawmegranate Lamb Strips are made with real lamb and beef, pomegranates, cranberries, and blueberries and are free of grains, gluten, wheat, corn, and soy. Zoe loved them.

The kids love teaching Zoe tricks so these Savory Chciken Flavor Training Treats by Exclusively Dog are perfect.

They are made in the USA, Made in the U.S.A of natural ingredients, contain real chicken and are wheat, corn & soy free.

Rounding out the treat department was this cute bunny Three Cheese Pleaser dog biscuit from Emmy’s Treats.

Many of the Pet Treater boxes we’ve received have contained a treat from Emmy’s Treats and Zoe has loved them all.  I like that I recognize and can pronounce every ingredient!  I also like that Pet Treater is helping to support a small business.

The April box also contained these cute From Frank:  Desk Notes.

I find myself scrambling for a piece of paper all the time so these will definitely come in handy.

Last but not least, I received these fun metal, dog shaped bookends.

The boys love to read and have a ton of books.  Hopefully, these will help keep some of those books organized!

Value Breakdown:

  • Alligator Toy- $11.99
  • Badger Toy- $12.99
  • Pawmegranate Treats- $7.99
  • Savory Chicken Treats- $6.23
  • Bunny Cookie Treat- $1.35
  • Desk Notes- $7.94
  • Bookends- $9.99

That gives this box an estimated value of $58.48.  A month to month auto shipment is only $24.99 so that’s a huge savings!  To get more info or sign up for a subscription, head over to PetTreater.com. Make sure to use the code FREE-PTBED  to get a free pet bed with either the 3, 6 or 12 month subscription.
