Peaches and Petals is a monthly subscription service that delivers beauty/lifestyle boxes each month right to your door.  Subscriptions are only $19.99 a month with free shipping!  The theme of the March box was “Hello Spring!”

As spring unfolds here in Tennessee, we have been enjoying warmer temperatures and blooming flowers.  The beautiful days have definitely gotten  me in the mood to be outside.  I forgo the treadmill for walks around the neighborhood or at the park.  This Carry-All Belt from Sprigs is perfect for these outings!

img_20170401_153350

It’s the modern and much more attractive version of the fanny packs of my youth (I know I’m dating myself haha!).  It features 3 strong, stretchy nylon pouches that are big enough to hold keys, phones, ipods, a camera, and more.  The middle pocket will even hold a 16oz water bottle!  It worked wonderfully this past weekend when I walked back and forth between the different soccer fields that several of my kids were playing on.

With the nice weather and summer vacation only 7 weeks away, we have already started planning fun adventures and travels.

img_20170401_153532

This Journey Journam from Lifebok is super neat!  It features 36, cardstock pages that are designed to easily help you document your travels.

img_20170401_153636 img_20170401_153658 img_20170401_153716

It has plenty of places for photos as well as handwritten notes.  It also has 4 pockets (2 in the front and 2 in the back) to place keepsakes like ticket stubs, menus, or postcards.  My kids are really excited about filling this up with memories!

I love finding beauty items in my monthly Peaches and Petals boxes.  This month I received a bottle of Yes to Cucumbers gentle milk cleanser.

img_20170401_153447

It contains soothing cucumber, soy protein and green tea for sensitive skin and is cruelty free.  It has a light fresh scent and left my skin feeling clean and soft.

I also received a bottle of  hello mint breath spray.

img_20170401_153804

The spray has a light spearmint flavor.  It honestly wasn’t as tasty as a piece of gum but it did leave my breath cool and minty.

Finally, I received this cute elephant by Stephanie Corfee Artworks.

img_20170401_153920  It’s made of cold-cast resin and is approximately 4″ tall.  I have a friend who collects elephants so this will make the perfect “just because” gift for her.

Here’s the value breakdown (all prices taken from Amazon):

  • Journey Journal- $16.99
  • Carry-All Belt- $28.60
  • Cleanser- $5.87
  • Breath Spray- $3.19
  • Elephant- $22.65

Total: $77.30

This was one of the highest value boxes I received and definitely a good deal!  To get an even better deal, Mudpies and Tiaras readers can use this link to Peaches and Petals and enter coupon code PEACH10% to receive 10% off your first box.

Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample from Frolicat for review purposes. The opinions are my own, based on my personal experience with the product.

We have three cats.  Daisy is 13 and prefers to spend her days laying in the sun.  Polly (2) and Maxin (8 months), on the other hand, love to play!  They chase each other around the house and have woken us up more than once wrestling around.  The kids love to bring out a laser pointer and let the cats chase it around the floor.  The cats also enjoy chasing socks and other items that the kids drag across the floor.  Frolicat has taken these fun activities to the next level with their Multi Laser Toy and Fox Den.

frolicat cat toy

The Multi Laser Toy has two lasers that spin around the room in fun patterns.  Maxin was immediately interested.  He chased the lasers all over!

img_20170306_181012

img_20170306_181038

It took Polly a few minutes to warm up to it but once she did, she was running in circles trying to catch that red light!

img_20170306_181508

img_20170306_181458 img_20170306_181548

The Fox Den was a hit as well.  It has a fuzzy fox tail that pops out, shakes and then hides again.

img_20170306_180507 img_20170306_182055 img_20170306_182046 img_20170306_180550

img_20170306_180841

img_20170306_181816

It has two different modes.  The first is one time play.  With that, the toy will come on for 10 minutes and then automatically shut off.  The second is All Day Play.  When in this mode, the toy will come on for 10 minutes and then rest for 2 hours. It will repeat this action three times for a total of 6 1/2 hours. But what I really like is that during the rest sessions, the motion sensor stays on.  So when the cat comes within 3-4 feet in front of the toy,  it will come on for two minutes. Once the cat walks away, the toy will rest again within 2 minutes.  This feature is great for keeping cats occupied while you’re away.

Polly and Maxin had a lot of fun with these toys and the kids got a kick out of watching them play!  Both of them are great for keeping your cat/s busy and engaged both with you there and when you’re away. The Fox Den and Multi Laser Toy retail for $19.99 a piece and can be found in many retail stores, like Bed Bath and Beyond.

I really look forward to receiving my month Peaches and Petals box.  It’s fun to get a box full of surprise goodies delivered right to my door.  This month the theme of the box was “Made with Love”.

The first thing I noticed was the Wilton Heart Pops Cookie Pan.

img_20170303_085137

My kids love to help me cook and bake so they were really excited about this.  We plan on making cookie pops this weekend.

img_20170303_084941

This Look Good Feel Good book is filled with ways to re-fresh, de-stress, energize, and indulge yourself.

img_20170303_084929

Life has been pretty crazy lately so I really appreciated these tips.

img_20170303_084954

I LOVE pizza so my hubby thought these ceramic coasters were perfect for me 🙂

img_20170303_085013 img_20170303_085035

When things get crazy, I love to try and escape to a nice relaxing bath.  This Come Hither Bath Bauble by Slightly Melted smells divine and will be perfect for a calming soak in the tub.

img_20170303_085102

I have never seen this Sprigs hotcollar before.  It provides warmth without the bulk of a scarf.  It just tucks down inside your coat and has a zipper to adjust it to your liking.

Here’s the value breakdown:

  • Bath Bomb- $3.99
  • Sprigs Hot Collars- $24.00
  • Wilton Heart Pops Cookie Pan- $10.49
  • Look Good, Feel Good: 206 Beauty and Fitness Secrets- $25
  • Coasters- $4

Total- $67.48

My daughter was super excited to find our February Pet Treater box on the porch last week.  She absolutely loves giving our Zoe new toys and treats.   Each box is customized for your dog and even includes a personalized letter.  The theme of the February Pet Treater box was “All you need is Love…and a dog”.

img_20170303_095407 Pet Treater February

In addition to talking about the theme for the month, the letter also reminded me that for every Pet Treater box purchased, a bed, treat, toy or blanket is donated to a local shelter cat or dog.  All of our pets are shelter animals so I love this fact!

img_20170303_095707

This bandanna is perfect for Zoe.  She loves giving kisses!  She also loves to hang out on the couch and leaves quite a bit of hair behind.  So the Furminator Hair Collector Roller will definitely come in handy!

img_20170303_095637 img_20170303_095650

The “How Smart is Your Dog?” book is really neat!  It includes many different activities/tests to do with your dog to determine their intelligence. Mt kids plan to do them all with Zoe this weekend but I did a couple with her myself.  She scored middle of the road on one and on the high end on the other.  We’ll see how she does with the rest of them!

img_20170303_095608

I think Zoe’s favorite part of the box is the treats!  This month we received Dentley’s Dried Lamb Lung Cubes, Dakota Treats Bully Sticks and a heart shaped Carob Peanut Butter Crunch cookie from Emmy’s Gourmet Canine Creations.

The Dentley’s are made from slow roasted natural flavored lamb lung.  Zoe loved them! The Bully Sticks have no artificial colors, flavors, artificial preservatives, and are made in the USA.  Zoe is a BIG chewer and she enjoyed these.  However, they were gone quickly.  My daughter thought the heart cookie was so cute and Zoe thought it was delicious!

img_20170303_095501

Zoe is still under a year old and has a lot of puppy energy.  She could play for hours!  She really likes squeaky toys so the Grriggles Fox Toy was a hit.

img_20170303_110736

As I mentioned, Zoe is a very strong chewer.  A lot of toys don’t hold up that well with her.  The ASPC rope toy is pretty sturdy and has held up to her chewing and tug of war playing great!  She wore herself out playing with both toys this morning.

img_20170303_113242

Every Pet Treater box includes a treat for the human.  This month it was a pair of Adirondack socks.

img_20170303_095526

The package says they are size 10-13 so are men’s socks.  I wear a size 10 so while they are a little big on me, hubby and I both wear them.  They are really soft and warm.

So here’s the value breakdown:

  • bandanna- $1
  • Grriggles toy fox- $12.80
  • Rope toy- $7.99
  • Dentley’s- $6.99
  • Bully Sticks- $6.73
  • Furminator hair roller- $4.99
  • How Smart is Your Dog book- $9.99
  • Socks- $4.99

Total: $55.48

A month to month auto shipment is only $24.99 so that’s a huge savings! If you go with a 3, 6, or 12 month subscription, it’s even cheaper ($19.99 for the 12 month!). Pet Treater is a monthly subscription service just for dogs, that allows people to pamper their dogs with some cool goodies! Each box is customized for your dog and is filled with wholesome treats, toys, and accessories.
The theme of the January Pet Treater box was “Cheers to another “Dog” gone year!” and as always, it included a note for our Zoe.

20170113_163244 Pet Treater January 20170113_163532

We received two bags of treats.

20170113_163609

The To Doggy with Love Chicken Meatball treats are all natural and grain free.   They contain human grade foods and are made in the USA.

The Smart n’ Tasty Little Duckies  treats are made with duck and sweet potato and are grain, soy and dairy free.

Zoe loved both of them!

20170113_164743

Little Miss was excited about the toys we received.

\ 20170113_163839

The Grriggles Darling Dragon Dog Squeaker Toy was a huge hit!

20170113_164501

20170113_200139

Zoe loves squeaky toys so I wasn’t surprised.  Unfortunately, Zoe is a HUGE chewer so the poor dragon only lasted a few days 🙁  They Unstuffies Mouse Toy is still going strong though!  It has a squeaker at both ends, which Zoe loves!

We received two grooming products.  The first was the Shedmonster Undercoat Rake.

20170113_163636

Zoe goes through phases of heavy shedding so this will really come in handy.

I was excited about the Pet Carpet Wipes.

20170113_163625

Zoe has gotten much better with house training but still has the occasional accident.  She is also a nervous pee’er.  I like that these pre-moistened wipes will quickly and easily clean up little messes.  They use enzyme action to maximize stain and odor elimination.

Last but not least, we received a pack of PEZ soft candy chews as our “human treat”.

20170113_163909

My kids loved them!

Here’s the breakdown (all prices from Amazon):

  • To Doggie With Love Treats- $12.99
