I am a stay-at-home mom.  We have 3 kids and are expecting our 4th.  We eat 99% of our meals at home and most of the scheduling, bill paying and cleaning falls to me.  I am always looking for neat ways to stay organized.  I stumbled across AboutOne.

Access everything on your phone…check.  Eliminate piles of paperwork…check.  Always having your receipts handy…check.  Sounds good to me!  If organization is something you struggle with then check it out and see what you think.

Do you have any no-fail organization tips?

I will share a few easy ones here:

#1 – Plan your meals! It can take some getting used to, but you will eat healthier and not be caught unprepared with a bunch of hungry kids.

#2 – Keep a box or small garbage can right next to your dryer.  Then when you empty the lint trap you have a place to dispose of it!

#3- In December when you get your calendar ready go ahead and write down household things like when you want to flip your mattress and change your filters!

I’d like to begin planning my family’s meals more often. It is too hard to plan and cook while hungry.
