I’ve mentioned before how much my kids love books.  I really enjoy reading with the boys and it’s especially fun when I get to revisit some of the classic stories I grew up with.  My 1Story puts a new spin on some old favorites to make them a little more  toddler friendly.  They are definitely classics for the 21st century!  Each book has a plush character that can accompany the story.  I received  the Beanie plush and Jack and the Magic Beans.

This is the story of Jack and The Beanstalk revised to be a little less scary.  There is still a giant but he’s a friendly kid version.  Jack and Beanie have a great time together in Beanie’s world.  I liked the fact that the story included a good lesson as well.  My 2 1/2 year old loved the pictures and thought it was so neat to have the plush Beanie to snuggle with as we read the story.  The book is more on his level and kept his attention.  The next night, my 6-year-old read it to my 4 year-old and he enjoyed it just as much.

In addition to Jack and The Magic Beans, My1Story also offers I Love Cake and a Lil’ Riding Hood plush.   These would make great additions to any child’s library.  They’re a great way to share some old favorites without having to worry about little ones getting scared, something you especially want to avoid right before bedtime!  The books and plushies are available exclusively at Amazon.  Check out http://www.myfirstory.com/ for more info as well as fun games and videos!

I wasn’t able to get the website to come up on my computer. I love that they have all the cute stories with a twist. I’d love to have something like this to save for my grandbabies. Thank you for the cute giveaway! 🙂
